We live in a 400 sq.foot Senior Citizen apartment, but we can offer the guest room of this 27 unit building and in summer we have a camper which is all yours at a campground six miles from here

Who We Are

Now in 2010 at seventy and seventy seven years of age we are elders in our Orthodox world, but we have been oh so blessed, both to travel so widely, and count so many Orthodox as our friends and family. I have also written Orthodox childrens books and articles in AGAIN magazine.

Anastasia loves reading, sewing, and tending her spiritual world with food, fabric, and flowers. Alexsi is that old academic who never dies but wanders off into esoterica: Eastern European village life, the Carpatho-Rusyn people,and currently the plight of the Palestinian Orthodox.

Lifestyle, lifestyle

We call ourselves gregarious recluses, both loving and needing people contact as much as we need our silence and solitude. We haven’t had television for 35 years. We reverence the table as the domestic altar, sleep late in the morning and drink coffee in bed before facing the day.
