Hello all, my name is Matheau and I currently have an extra bedroom available in my home, which is very close to central Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in the USA. I am located across the river approximately 12 miles by car (15 minute drive - public transit also available) from Philadelphia. I am an Orthodox convert (15 years ago) from both a Protestant and before that Roman Catholic tradition. I am a single male of 38 years. I have a small dog. I occasionally smoke. I attend an English speaking parish in my area that consists of several ethnic backgrounds (Russian, Greek, Arab and more) as well as a fair number of converts. There are many Orthodox Churches in Philadelphia that were founded by a number of different immigrant groups. I am a few hours drive south of St. Tikhon’s monastery as well as St. Vladimir’s seminary and 3 hours north of Washington D.C. The area is accessible to the Jersey shore and beach areas, the unique New Jersey Pine Barrens ecosystem, Philadelphia, New York City, Atlantic City, the Pocono mountains etc. Males, females and small Orthodox groups or families are welcome to contact me and possibly use the extra bedroom. It is not particularly fancy and would require (at this time at least) the use of a sleeping bag on the floor or an air mattress. I am located in a friendly and safe mobile home community in the South Jersey suburbs of Philadelphia.
